QWIK-Connect Technology Embraced

The mining camp construction industry has embraced the introduction of our Patent Pending "QWIK-Connect" transportable buildings interface connecting bracket.  QWIK-Connect significantly reduces building installation and de-commissioning times and at the same time eliminates OH&S risk of confined space working as all work is conducted from the side of the buildings skid rails.

Engineered for use in cyclonic conditions the QWIK-Connect enables building connection to our screwpile tie-down ground anchors in a matter of minutes.  Any on-site welding requirement where direct weld connection methods were used is now eliminated.  We believe the practise by others of fitting a dog-clamp attachment connecting buildings to screwpiles exposes the building to the risk of the connection vibrating loose due to the potential of cyclic wind-load induced building cavitation in extreme conditions.  Where failure does occur it is likley to happen at the worst possible moment.

STG is working closely with mining engineering firms to develop its QWIK-Connects for other infrastructure installations such as conveyor modules.

QWIK-Connects are available to suit a range of 200-250-310UB sub-floor rail systems.
