Local Content Policy & Accreditation

Screwpile Australia recognises the importance of supporting local businesses groups and individuals in its manufacturing operations and its day to day activities.  We also recognise the importance of providing the best possible products and services within the best possible pricing regime, thats why we offer stakehorders and clients the alternative of either local West Australian content or product manufactured from our China factory.

Wherever possible we encourage our clients to select West Australian manufactured product as we prefer to employ as many West Australians as possible at our Bayswater plant.  We also recognise the fact that some projects would simply not proceed without cheaper imported manufactured product being made available.

Our Australian manufacturing operations only uses AS1163 Grade 350 mill certificed steel purchased from Australian steel mill companies such as Orrcon, Onesteel & Bluescope and where galvanising is required local plants are comissioned.  All our internal and external screwpile installers are accredited through our own "Accredited Screwpile Australia Installer" accreditation program to ensure correct installation procedures are adhered to in accordance with the intended engineering design outcomes and our quality assurance programs.

Screwpile Australia is a member of the Screwpile Technologies Group (STG) and as such offers a turnkey approach to engineering design, certification, manufacturing, testing and installation.  Manufactured product is NATA tested and STG has developed Australia's only rotary hydraulic powerhead and installing machine torque testing callibration test bed and certification center.  To our knowledge Screwpile Australia and is accredited installers have the only callibrated and certified screwpiling installation machinery in Australia that can guarantee correct installation protocols and engineering specifications are met.

Where requested each screwpile can be ID tagged for positive and future identification enabling total tracking of screwpile product from manufacture through testing, installation and removal when required.
