Modular Buildings

Commonly known in the industry as donga's, modular buildings are now large division within the building & construction industry.  Full modular residential housing has moved away from the traditional donga to a more spacious and opulent design of complexed (grouped) buildings, typically consisting of 2 to 3 floors connected together to create 1 building.

The majority of modular buildings sold in Australia are manufactured by Australian modular building companies. They have been using our screwpile foundation system for many years and continue to do so.  Chinese flat-pac imports are now arriving on Australian shores and are bound to have an impact so long as quality is good and meet Australian Standards including wind ratings etc.

Since 1996 we have provided expert foundation and tie down ground anchor advice for all kinds of remote accommodation and housing developments throughout Australia and South East Asia.  We have continually demonstrated the economical advantages and speed and ease of using our screw piling systems.

The recent introduction of our QWIK-Connect and QWIK-Loc technology has contributed to continued growth for us in this sector as building can now be secured to the ground in a matter of minutes.  Temporary buildings that require decommissioning are removed just as quick and everything is totally reusable, thereby reducing our carbon footprint.
